Digital Health and Well-being

About Browse

As knowledge and technology advance society through several means, the digital world has many applications to improve health and well-being for many. For example, remote physiological monitoring is a possibility for patients to use whilst managing and treating their disease, and many other devices are similarly permitting the integration of at-risk individuals into society. In turn, the added benefit of maximising their well-being is pertinent to the highest quality of life. Additionally, the new age of digital health is allowing members of society (both adults and children) to have access and the ability to manage their health in a personalised way, however, the automation of this and big data management will need to keep up with how and when future advances are implemented.

This collection aims to provide Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe beneficiaries with a space to openly publish work within the broad area of digital health and well-being to encourage improvements and positive implementation of health and well-being in the digital world.

The scope of the collection includes but is not limited to:

  • Citizen and patient access and utilisation of Big Data
  • Child well-being to inform their long-term future
  • Health digitisation/automation
  • Device development for screening, monitoring and treatment of disease(s)
  • Personalised health
  • Integrating patients into society
