Indexation
All versions of an article are linked and independently citable. An article that has passed peer review (i.e., it has received two ‘Approved’ or two ‘Revision requested’ statuses and one ‘Approved’ status) will be indexed in bibliographic databases. If an article is indexed, all versions, along with their corresponding peer review reports, are deposited.
All articles that pass peer review will also be sent to Zenodo, a general-purpose repository maintained by CERN. Open Research Europe plans to syndicate published content with institutional and national repositories in Europe and will gradually add to the option of repositories and bibliographic databases that content is sent to.
All data and code associated with an article should be deposited by the author into a trusted repository. For authors unsure about which repository is best suited to your needs, we refer you to the following article, which provides an inventory of identified trusted repositories (Download Annex 1), their topical coverage and other assessment criteria:
Lazzeri, E. (2024). Update of the Study on the readiness of research data and literature repositories to facilitate compliance with the Open Science Horizon Europe MGA requirements (Version 1.0). Zenodo. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.13919643
Every article is indexed by the CrossMark Identification Service™, which summarises the history of an article and any linked publications. Clicking on the CrossMark logo in the HTML of the article provides up-to-date information on the latest article version, as well as new peer reviews and any associated articles (which will be linked together).
