Electromagnetism & Electronics

About Browse

Electromagnetism is a branch of physics that studies the electromagnetic force, one of the fundamental forces of nature. This force is generated between electrically charged particles. In combination with Electronics, this area focuses on the interaction between magnetic and electric fields. In day-to-day life, this field is responsible for developing technologies and practices that include generators & transformers that produce electricity for daily consumption, home appliances, medical equipment such as Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and digital storage.

This collection includes both theoretical and experimental research. Potential topics include but are not limited to:

  • Antennas and Microwave technologies
  • Electromagnetic Compatibility, Scattering & Electromagnetic Theory
  • Medical electromagnetics
  • Metamaterials, Photonic Crystals & Complex Media
  • Remote Sensing, Imaging, Radar & Sensing

Potential fields covered within this collection include, but are not limited to:

  • Computational Electromagnetics
  • Plasmonics
