Genomes
Genomes contain the complete set of genetic material of a cell or organism that allows them to grow and develop.
Advances in sequencing techniques have made possible to sequence many organisms’ genomes, from model organisms such as yeast, worms, fruit flies and plants, to the Human genome. Despite all this wealth of knowledge, there are still unresolved questions: What is the role of non-coding regulatory genome? How can genome’s conformation control gene expression?
This collection curates research in understanding genomes dynamics, organisation and stability, and their role in gene regulation.
Potential topics include but are not limited to:
- Genome stability
- Genome organisation
- Genome dynamics
- Genome regulation
